Recovery Home offers air-conditioned comfort and excellent food to residents, who are required to bring along only their personal wear. Everything else, including linen, bathroom items, blankets, towels, slippers etc is provided by us. We have endeavored to provide a caring, healthy and safe environment where patients need to focus only on the treatment, i.e., therapy sessions and not be bothered by other problems. Our team consists of Medical Doctors, experienced counselors and psycho-social therapists who give services with care and support. Accomodation We offer two categories, general and special. The therapy is same in both, difference being in the living conditions. Special has air-conditioning, mineral water to drink and an independent bed to sleep on whereas in general, the patients get ordinary water and a bunker bed. The charges are Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 per month respectively. In exceptional cases, we may provide a mattress on the floor to a patient who is unable to afford the two categories. Rs 10,000 is charged in this case.
Residents are not required to undertake any manual labour whatsoever, except washing their clothes if they choose not to utilize the laundry service. The food is home-like and wholesome, cooked in hygienic conditions. Non-vegetarian dishes are served twice a week. Milk and fruits are given at breakfast and at night. If so desired, residents can order food of their liking from the outside.
Residents are encouraged to participate in sports, especially volleyball. All sorts of indoor games are available. There is a small library consisting of books, newspapers and magazines. Internet, music and movies of choice are available. Residents can utilize the services of a masseur for massage and a barber. The clinic has a stand-by doctor for any medical problems and visits by a psychiatrist can be arranged if needed. |
